Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Certified Pilates Instructor role located in Silverdale, WA. The instructor will lead safe, effective, and engaging group Pilates classes using Club Pilates' standardized programming and a variety of equipment, including the Reformer, EXO-Chair, Springboard, and Barre. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and teaching classes, offering modifications and progressions for diverse abilities, and monitoring participants for proper form and safety. The role involves greeting and supporting members, answering questions about classes and membership, and fostering an inclusive, upbeat studio environment. Instructors may also assist with demo classes, member consultations, and occasional studio events to support member retention and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Pilates Instruction, with certification from a recognized Pilates training program.
• Experience leading Group Exercise classes and adapting programming for various fitness levels.
• Knowledge of Physical Therapy principles or functional movement to support safe, low-impact training.
• Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build rapport and support a welcoming studio environment.
• Teaching skills, including clear cueing, effective communication, and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe.
• Ability to stand, demonstrate exercises, and move equipment as needed throughout shifts.
• Reliable punctuality, professional demeanor, and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in boutique fitness or wellness environments is beneficial.
