Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy Assistance licensure in the state of Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing the patient’s treatment plan.
• Implement a written treatment plan including measurable goals.
• Communicate with the patient, family, physicians, and health care staff.
• Assist discharge planning for patients continuing rehabilitation services.
• Document all patient related activities thoroughly and clearly.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistant students during clinical affiliations.
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Promote rehab services and Wesley Medical Center.
