Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is recruiting Phlebotomists to support Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves specimen collection, labeling, and accurate processing in a secure environment with schedule changes as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification, a training course, and AHA CPR/BLS certification, plus at least five years in a healthcare setting. Citizenship for DOE clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
• Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course (or equivalent)
• American Heart Association (AHA) CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum of five (5) years as a phlebotomist in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency in blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, urine drug screen collections, paternity collections, breath/saliva alcohol testing, LCM/Cyber Tools, TestCup, pediatric blood collections, and difficult draws
• U.S. Citizenship for DOE contract security clearance

Responsibilities

• Performs proper specimen collection and labeling procedures used for routine and special procedures
• Performs all standard laboratory techniques related to phlebotomy such as correcting patient identification, proper collection of samples (volume, tube type, temperature and/or timing conditions) and collection of specimens for urinalysis, 24-hour urines, toxicology and microbiological (sputum and urine), all defined within the standard operating procedures
• Must accession all specimens in receiving area and ensure timely transport and distribution of specimens to all sections of the laboratory for immediate processing and testing; if unable to deliver samples due to peak workloads, contacts sectional personnel to transport samples

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Phlebotomists to support Sandia National Laboratories located at 1515 Eubank Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87123. Services will be delivered to all requesting departments throughout the facility. Exceptional compensation packages with full benefits are available.

Position Pays

$32/hour + $750 sign on bonus (paid after 90 days of employment)
