Job summary

Hemet Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomy Technician to join our laboratory team. The role covers specimen collection, proper labeling, and transporting specimens for testing, with clerical duties and support across the department as needed.

Responsibilities include venipuncture and capillary collection, specimen processing, and maintaining accurate patient records. One year of acute-care experience is preferred; CA CPT license, BLS, and MAB certificates

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: One (1) year experience general acute experience preferred.
• CA CPT License required; BLS and MAB certificate required (90 days upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Collects blood specimens by venous and capillary puncture.
• Prepares and maintains patient records and lab files.
• Distributes lab reports and supports orientation of new staff.
