Sutter Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, CA seeks a Phlebotomy Technician to perform EKG duties and collect blood across patient ages, following established standards and practices.

Must have HS diploma or equivalent and completion of a phlebotomy training program; 6 months phlebotomy experience and prior EKG exposure are preferred. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with benefits and union representation, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
• Completion of a training program for phlebotomist.
• 6 months work experience in Phlebotomy.
• Prior EKG experience.

Responsabilités

• Performs EKG duties.
• Collects blood from neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Adheres to established standards and practices.
• Assists with phlebotomy training as needed.
