Job summary

Heritage Lab Services LLC seeks a reliable Certified Phlebotomist in Billings, MT. This full-time role involves venipuncture, capillary draws and specimen handling, with adherence to SOPs and HIPAA rules. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Certified phlebotomist with minimum one year in a lab or hospital setting.
• Experience handling patient specimens and proper labeling.
• Good understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Review procedures and ensure adherence to organizational standards.
• Verify patient identification before procedures and document billing data accurately.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws with care and precision.
• Handle specimen collection including drug screens and biometric tests.
• Prepare samples: labeling, centrifugation, aliquoting, and transport readiness.
• Follow SOPs to maintain sample quality and patient comfort.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature records consistently.
• Uphold confidentiality and privacy per HIPAA policies.
