Job summary

Texas Health Care PLCC is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our dedicated team. This role performs blood specimen collection, ensures correct patient identification, and coordinates with offices and Lab staff. Training will be provided; must maintain sanitation and follow safety protocols.

On-site work in a clinic network, with opportunities to assist in main lab when needed. Pay ranges $18.00-23.00 per hour based on experience; full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy Certification Required - NPS, NCCT, NHA, NPA
• Performs proper procedures to obtain blood specimens with correct patient identification
• Function as liaison between Privia Labs and physician offices to provide excellent service

Responsibilities

• Order and stock supplies and discard expired items
• Unpack and organize supplies
• Review EHR requisitions for missing codes and incomplete orders
• Ensure proper specimens are drawn and biohazards/sharps are disposed of safely
• Assist in main lab and with patients as needed
