Responsibilities

Hours of operation:2:30pm to 11pm and 12pm to 8:30pm with some weekends and holidays

JOB SUMMARY

• Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist will perform delegated tasks as authorized by Florida Statutes chapter 465.014 to facilitate the accurate and timely filling of prescriptions and medication orders.
• Pharmacy technicians assist licensed pharmacists provide medication and other pharmaceuticals products to patients.
• Technicians refer questions regarding prescriptions, drug information, or health matters to a pharmacist.

Qualifications

Education/Regulatory Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Registered pharmacy technician with State of Florida

Skills:

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Florida driver’s license and reliable automobile transportation are required.
• Good communication skills and computer use required

Professional Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills.
