Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide technical support in medication preparation, delivery, and cart-fill exchange. The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs and quality assurance to ensure safe pharmaceutical care for patients.

Under direct supervision, you will assist with unit-dose preparation, repackaging when needed, restocking supplies, and ensuring timely medication distribution. Weekend shifts are required, with ongoing training and competency assessments to stay current

Qualifications

• Under direct supervision, procures, prepares, packages, distributes and disposes of medications and supplies.
• Ensures product verification and supports distribution of medications to patients.
• Maintains quality through logs and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare unit dose, compound oral and IV meds.
• Restock medications and supplies in patient care areas.
• Handle medication delivery and cart fill exchanges.
• Follow ordering procedures and prioritize tasks.
• Participate in ongoing training and competency assessments.
