Job Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision, complying with state and federal regulations, and company policies.
- Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations.
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and resolving issues.
- Support inventory management, clinical services, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
- Complete training and maintain PTCB certification, attending required trainings and continuing education.
Customer Experience
- Greet customers, offer assistance, and develop strong relationships with valuable customers.
- Share customer service best practices with team members.
Operations
- Assist in entering and verifying prescription and patient data, and ensure accuracy in pharmacy transactions.
- Handle cash register operations and process third-party claims efficiently.
- Support pharmacy team in clinical and outreach activities, maintaining professional relationships with healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Must be fluent in English (excluding Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Preferred: six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, PTCB certification.
