Responsibilities
  • Assist the pharmacist in medication management and patient care, supporting a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Follow guidelines under pharmacist supervision for medication preparation and distribution.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment to ensure timely medication delivery.
  • Perform tasks including IV admixture, medication dispensing assistance, medication inventory management, verbal refill authorizations, insurance verification, and medication deliveries.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Active National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA.
  • State Pharmacy Technician license (KY). If no prior experience, obtain PHT credential within 30 days; if experienced, obtain at hire.

Desired:

  • One year of pharmacy experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
