Responsibilities

• Assisting Pharmacist in dispensing and compounding medications under supervision.
• Medications are accurately filled and distributed to nursing units in a timely fashion.
• Unit-dose medications are prepared and labeled for distribution to nursing units.
• Compounded medications are correctly prepared and labeled for distribution.
• Review of expiration dates and stock management to avoid expired medications.
• Medications are reviewed and ordered; received meds are stocked in designated areas.
• Controlled medications are dispensed/returned per policy with accurate records.
• Provide clerical support and assist on projects as needed.
