Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Course Work and Examination for Certification from the PTCB or ICPT Pharmacy Certification Boards.
• If allowed by State Regulation, and authorized by the Pharmacist in Charge, receive oral prescriptions.
• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and handle questions that do not require a pharmacist’s expertise.
• Receive written prescriptions or telephone refill requests.
• Gather information needed to prepare prescriptions.
• Enter data into computer.
• Operate cash register.
