Job summary

Walgreens in Dickson, TN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician under pharmacist supervision to support prescription processing, customer service, and daily operations.

You will use pharmacy systems, assist with inventory, handle cash, and help maintain accurate records while delivering a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

PTCB certification is preferred; six months of retail experience and familiarity with Walgreens operations are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience is preferred.
• Good math, computer skills and familiarity with store inventory control are advantageous.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties in accordance with policy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems; assist technicians and cashiers as needed.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately and check for drug interactions.
• Support inventory management, including ordering, unpacking and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers and the local medical community.
