Job summary

Ideal candidates will have flexibility for evenings/weekends, and some retail experience. PTCB certification is preferred, with opportunities for certification advancement and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Prior work experience with Walgreens (preferred).
• Good math skills for filling prescriptions (preferred).
• Good computer skills (preferred).
• Knowledge of store inventory control (preferred).
• PTCB certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy and other Pharmacy Department duties.
• Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions; coaches technicians and cashiers where applicable.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience and supports patient interactions.
• Performs duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager and Store Manager, including handling inventory management and cashiering tasks.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist and adheres to company policies.
• Maintains pharmacy area cleanliness and organization and supports clinical services as needed.
