Qualifications

• Good math skills, computer skills, and knowledge of inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred; certification required for promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under direct supervision.
• Uses pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Fills prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications and verifies accuracy.
• Maintains inventory and assists with ordering and stocking.
• Handles cash register and processes customer transactions.
• Supports pharmacy team with clerical duties and scheduling.
• Adheres to Quality Improvement Program and Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
