Job summary

KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in triaging, processing and delivering prescriptions. You will help manage inventory, handle third-party claims, and perform front-end duties such as cashiering and phone inquiries.

The role requires familiarity with pharmacy systems, MTM programs, and compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards, with Vermont registration where applicable. Training and ongoing compliance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• AS degree or higher preferred.
• PTCB or national certification preferred.
• Registered as Pharmacy Technician in Vermont (for VT employees).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in triage, processing and delivery of prescriptions.
• Support inventory management and third-party receivables.
• Perform store clerk duties including cash register and phones.
• Learn and operate pharmacy management and POS systems.
• Ensure each prescription is checked by a pharmacist before dispensing.
• Assist in MTM and patient-centered professional services.
