Job summary

Kinney Drugs, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work under the supervision of a pharmacist in Vermont. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, maintaining inventory, handling third-party claims, and supporting MTM and patient-centered services.

The role requires familiarity with pharmacy technology, data entry and cash handling. Preferred qualifications include an AS degree or higher and a PTCB or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Preferred AS Degree or higher in a pharmacy-related field.
• PTCB or other nationally recognized certification program preferred.
• Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist in triaging, processing and delivery of prescriptions to patients.
• Support pharmacy inventory management and third-party receivables.
• Perform duties of Pharmacy Clerk including cash register and telephone tasks.
• Ensure each prescription is checked by a pharmacist prior to dispensing.
• Assist MTM programs and other patient-centered services.
