Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription counting, measuring, weighing.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision and follow Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems, ensuring accuracy.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; verify accuracy.
• Process manual third-party claims and perform clerical duties as assigned.
• Support pharmacy department on inventory management and ordering.
• Assist with clinical services and coordination with healthcare providers as needed.
• Maintain department cleanliness and stocking of supplies.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain professional relationships.
