Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring for a pharmacy team member to fill prescriptions, assist customers, and manage supplies at our Middletown, PA location. The role requires state or national certification and attention to safety and accuracy in every task.

You will verify IDs, enter data accurately, and support inventory control while providing friendly, helpful service to customers in a fast-paced store environment. Training and compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy rules are essential.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must meet state required minimum age.
• Must be able to successfully complete background check and drug screening.
• Must read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties and to comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
• Must have and maintain valid specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at shift start and prepare for duties.
• Move totes, unpack incoming supplies, and stock shelves.
• Clean shelving, check inventory levels, and inspect expiration dates.
• Help customers and answer telephone calls.
• Must verify identification of customers for products when required.
• Complete the prescription filling process, including data entry and dispensing.
• Maintain license certifications; immunization duties if certified.
