Key Responsibilities
  • Process prescriptions and insurance claims, resolving denials and rejections
  • Package, label, and prepare medications for pharmacist verification and shipment
  • Perform data entry and manage documentation for prescription orders
  • Communicate effectively with patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and maintain inventory, including cycle counts and expiration reviews
  • Assist in medication returns, quarantines, and destruction processes
  • Ensure all processes comply with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and payer guidelines
  • Support multiple pharmacy functions and departments as needed
