Accredo Specialty Pharmacy is looking for licensed Pharmacy Technicians only in TN. Candidates MUST reside and be licensed in TN only!

As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, residing in TN, you will work from home, assisting patients in receiving life sustaining medications to help manage rare and/or chronic diseases. You’ll be empowered to engage patients, insurance companies, and multiple departments to process Prescription orders and ensure timely shipment of medications. This role is very detail oriented, and you’ll spend the majority of your day working on our computer system entering data and talking on the phone.

This is a front end position where you'll assist patients in 3 separate roles within this team;

  • Communicate directly with patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals via inbound calls.
  • Receive inbound calls for new verbal prescriptions and clarifications on existing orders
  • Reconcile patient charts with new demographics and health related information from your interactions.

How you’ll make a difference:

  • Ensure prescriptions are accurately entered into system.
  • Investigate issues with pharmacist, doctors & other healthcare providers.
  • Provide guidance to our patients about medication coverage.
  • Juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail.

What you need to do the job:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must reside in TN
  • Customer Service experience required, phone experience, a plus
  • Valid Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as required by state laws.
  • Tech Savvy- Strong computer / data entry ability with Microsoft Office products
  • High speed internet with wired ethernet connection.
