Qualifications

• National certification as Pharmacy Technician and registration with Montana Board of Pharmacy as Certified Technician upon hire, required.
• Six months of active experience as a pharmacy technician or experience deemed as equivalent by the board.
• Proficient with basic software, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Ability to follow policy manuals and adhere to job standards.
• Flexible to adapt to varying workloads and work independently.

Responsabilités

• Assist the pharmacist in providing medications and healthcare products to patients.
• Measure, mix, count, label, dispense, and record dosages of medications and IVs.
• Receive and verify prescriptions and manage purchasing and inventory.
• Deliver medications to patients, nursing stations, and surgery areas.
• Maintain proper drug storage and security.
