Job summary

Maxor National Pharmacy Services is seeking a dedicated bilingual Spanish Pharmacy Technician to join the HELP Pharmacy team in Arlington, TX. This full-time role operates in a clinic-based setting, collaborating closely with providers and staff to ensure optimal patient care.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years retail pharmacy experience, PTCB certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months), and a passion for serving diverse communities, including LGBTQ patients.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish is required.
• PTCB Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months; Maxor will assist.
• 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience.
• Experience in HIV/AIDS clinical setting preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take prescription orders.
• Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
• Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers.
• Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked.
• Answer the phone.
• Input customer information into the computer system.

Maxor National Pharmacy Services is seeking a dedicated, compassionate bilingual Spanish Pharmacy Technician to join our amazing team at HELP Pharmacy. This is your chance to work in a clinic-based pharmacy that prioritizes a team-based approach, collaborating closely with providers and clinic staff, to ensure optimal care for patients. Maxor National Pharmacy Services is currently recruiting for the position of full time Certified Pharmacy Technician at one of Maxor's network of managed specialty pharmacies in Arlington,TX.

Founded in 1994 to address a critical need to connect health education and prevention services to marginalized populations – those who found it difficult or impossible to access programs addressing theirspecific and uniquecharacteristics in a culturally appropriate manner, HELP has consistently expanded and adapted. Our focus is on making vitally needed care available to at-risk adolescents and adults, HIV positive individuals, ethnic and sexual minorities, and the LGBT community as a whole.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate experience in specialty disease states, such as Hepatitis C, HIV, and Autoimmune.


• Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain your national certification within 6 months (Maxor will assist)


• 2+ years retail pharmacy experience; experience in HIV/AIDS clinical setting preferred.


• Must be able to work well independently and be very detail oriented


• Computer experience mandatory


• Proven track record of exemplary customer service, with a very friendly and outgoing personality


• Ability to work with a diverse patient population, connection with the LGBTQ community is preferred


• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care


• Bilingual Spanish a MUST
