The Kroger Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists, interact with customers, and support patient health and wellness initiatives in a compliant, customer-focused environment.

You will handle reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to HIPAA. A strong team mindset and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain required state registrations or licenses.
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities not requiring pharmacist judgment.
• Provide stellar customer experience across reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing processes.
• Support coaching and training of clerks/technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription data.
• Support non-dispensing services via platforms and applications.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings as allowed by law and policy.
• Provide additional health and wellness services as permitted.
• Ensure sanitation and safety regulations are followed and report unsafe conditions.
