Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists by entering patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; verify accuracy.
• Assist in scheduling and maintaining pharmacy workflow; report prescription errors.
• Handle cash and assist customers at OTC aisles; answer non-urgent calls to physicians.
• Lead inventory management in Pharmacy Department; manage shipments and store supplies.
• Support clinical services and coordination with Walgreens healthcare clinics and external providers.
