Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for counting/dispensing medications.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred or in-progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision and perform pharmacy duties per policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Support cashier operations and sales transactions.
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues.
• Maintain accuracy in dispensing and check for interactions.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
• Coordinate with clinic staff where needed.
