Qualifications

Registration with Virginia Department of Health Professionals required; certifications within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Process, fill, verify prescriptions and adjudicate insurance claims.
Prepare non-sterile compounds and package medications.
Maintain equipment and cleanliness of the department.
Handle medication charges, operate registers, and manage financial transactions.
Maintain records, prepare deposits, ensure regulatory compliance.
Order, receive, and return medications; manage inventory using PAR levels.
Deliver medications and supplies to various locations.
Interact with patients, staff, and vendors.
