UC Health is hiring a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician for Medication Reconciliation at the University of Cincinnati’s Medical Center. We offer a $2,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and keeping patient records. Trainees work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and do not perform duties exclusive to registered pharmacists.

This position involves working closely with clinical pharmacy specialists and medication reconciliation technicians to enhance admission and discharge medication reconciliation efforts. The team will expand to five technicians, each focusing on specific patient populations and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• License and Certification: Current pharmacy technician registration and certification recognized by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
• Experience: No experience required; 1-2 years preferred
• Skills and Knowledge: Attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, effective communication, and ability to meet pharmaceutical care needs

Compensation

The starting salary range is $19.42/hr to $24.01/hr, dependent on experience, skills, internal alignment, and market factors.
