Job summary

The Valley Health System-Ridgewood is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmaceutical preparation, distribution, and record keeping across the department and satellite areas. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and responsiveness to urgent requests.

Two to three years of experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent with college courses preferred. Evening shift available with comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be eligible for pharmacy technician registration.
• Pharmacy technician certification required.
• Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods.
• Ability to work cooperatively with health-system and pharmacy staff.
• Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.
• Ability to set priorities and solve problems.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergency requests.
