Valley Health System – Ridgewood is seeking a pharmacy technician to assist in pharmaceutical preparation, distribution, and record keeping across the department and satellite areas.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma (college courses preferred), 2–3 years of experience, and active registration or eligibility with required certification. Evening shift and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college courses preferred.
• Two to three years pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Must be registered or eligible for pharmacy technician registration; certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparation, distribution, and record keeping of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Perform a variety of technical pharmacy services in the department, satellites, and service areas.
• Respond quickly to emergency requests and adapt to workload changes while keeping priorities.
