Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Mount Carmel East Inpatient Pharmacy. The role supports pharmacists in ensuring timely and accurate medication provision, including sterile and non-sterile compounding and automated dispensing on patient care units.
Responsibilities include inventory control, billing support, and continued training. Eligible technicians may participate in elevated compensation for sterile compounding after completion of our training

The Certified Pharmacy Tech, will assist the pharmacist in assuring timely and accurate provision of medications to patients. Technician responsibilities are performed under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. These functions may include unit dose dispensing, sterile compounding, non-sterile compounding, medication packaging, inventory control, record keeping and billing, and use of equipment and automated technology.
Mount Carmel also offers an elevated Certified Pharmacy Tech – Sterile Compounding compensation program for all sterile compounding trained technicians, regardless of prior experience. Following completion of our standardized training program, all signed off technicians will be approved for elevated compensation
