This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, evening shift position located in Grove City.
The Certified Pharmacy Tech will assist the pharmacist in assuring timely and accurate provision of medications to patients. Technician responsibilities are performed under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. These functions may include unit dose dispensing, sterile compounding, non-sterile compounding, medication packaging, inventory control, record keeping and billing, and use of equipment and automated technology. Shift starts at 2:30pm and ends at 11:00pm. **Mount Carmel also offers an elevated Certified Pharmacy Tech – Sterile Compounding compensation for all sterile compounding trained technicians, regardless of prior experience. Following completion of our standardized training program, all signed off technicians will be approved for elevated compensation when working more than 50% of a shift in the IV room.**
