Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member to assist the pharmacist under supervision, process prescriptions, and deliver excellent customer service. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain information and help with cashier operations and workflow supervision.

The role supports inventory, basic clinical services coordination, and maintains professional interactions with customers and healthcare providers. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• PTCB certification required or pursued for promotion path.
• Retail experience and prior Walgreens familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Support cashier operations and coaching of technicians as applicable.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience and resolve issues.
• Enter patient and drug information and assist in scheduling workflow under pharmacist guidance.
• Handle cash transactions and direct customers to OTC products.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, unpacking and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Support clinical services coordination and liaison with healthcare providers as needed.
