Overview

The individual in this role has oversight over the internal shipping processes and monitors the status and effectiveness of processes performed by our courier partner(s). The position requires a systematic worker who can self-manage time and organize materials to ensure a timely delivery of orders without sacrificing accurate dispersal or quality of product.

Job Summary:

  • Organize and stock materials necessary for daily deliveries including; labels, boxes, paperwork.
  • Maintain the Shipping Area in a neat, clean, and organized manner, including the Shipping/Receiving area.
  • Access necessary functions in proprietary Pharmacy software to.
  • Prepare deliveries and monitor status of workflow through the day
  • Scan all items through the software's "Delivery Scanning" function to complete pharmacy process and to generate "Delivery Sheets" (manifests)
  • Research and attempt to reconcile issues
  • Run basic reports for review and analysis
  • Provide routine delivery to DeBerry Special Needs Facility, next to the pharmacy.
  • Coordinate with pharmacy staff when assistance is needed. Provide clear explanation of needs and length of time that help is needed.
  • Preparing all packages and delivery sheets for the end of day pickup by partner courier(s) by ensuring that all items have been scanned and placed into containers for shipping.

Required Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 (one) year of Pharmacy Experience.
  • Preferred Certified Pharmacy Technician License. Previous Shipping/Logistics experience is beneficial but not required. Be able to regularly lift 20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Have a working knowledge of Windows based/styled computer functions.

Work Schedule:

7:00AM - 3:30PM - Monday - Friday

Competitive Compensation: The starting hourly rate is $20 for a Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician and $21 for CPhT.
