Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for a 100% remote contract role. You will evaluate and authorize prior authorization requests from prescribers using clinical criteria in a call center environment.

Responsibilities include documenting outcomes, communicating coverage and formulary alternatives, and escalating complex cases to a pharmacist as needed. Requires state license and national certification, with 1+ year of retail/call center experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

Work Environment

This is a 100% remote position.

The role involves 8-hour shifts between 7:15am CST - 9 pm CST, 5 days a week.

Shifts will be determined based on candidate availability.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
