Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Full Job Description:

• Assist the pharmacist with duties in accordance with Texas state board and company requirements.
• Process prescriptions electronically, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims.
• Manage medication inventory and stock medications.
• Prepare, package, and label prescriptions.
• Reconstitute medications as ordered.
• Prepack and label drugs.
• Handle deliveries and marketing when needed.
• Greet customers and respond to inquiries.
• Perform administrative tasks like record-keeping.
• Follow security measures and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the pharmacy for opening by sterilizing surfaces and equipment.
• Greet customers and verify prescriptions.
• Process prescriptions electronically, ensuring accuracy.
• Resolve issues such as insurance rejections.
• Select medicines and measure dosages.
• Monitor inventory, sort, stock, and label medications.
• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Experience with online prescription systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of medications, dosages, pharmacy law, and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable with keen attention to detail.
