Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations. Support other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coach pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and building relationships.
4. Perform pharmacy duties such as entering data, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and managing inventory under supervision.
5. Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to pharmacy policies, including Good Faith Dispensing.
6. Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and process third-party claims efficiently.
7. Support clinical services, coordinate with healthcare providers, and maintain a clean, stocked pharmacy environment.
8. Maintain compliance with company policies, complete special assignments, and pursue personal development through training and certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer at least six months of retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
