Certified Pharmacy Technician

Healix manages physician-owned office infusion centers and pharmacies nationwide, providing in-office treatment and take-home medications for optimal patient comfort and outcomes. Our clinical pharmacy team includes Clinical Pharmacy Managers and Certified Pharmacy Technicians who offer pharmaceutical care services within Healix-managed infusion centers across the country. Our pharmacists and technicians work daytime hours in a physician office setting, engaging directly with patients in an interdisciplinary team environment.

Certified Pharmacy Technicians

Our Certified Pharmacy Technicians perform sterile compounding in USP 797 compliant pharmacy facilities. Activities include compounding antimicrobials, parenteral nutrition, immunoglobulins, and other infusion therapies under the supervision of Healix Clinical Pharmacy Managers.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile or non-sterile intravenous admixture compounds under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Data management
• Manage stock, supplies, and work area

Qualifications:

• PTCB certification, IV certification
• Licensed in the state of application
• At least 2 years of experience with IV admixtures
• Excellent computer skills
