Job summary

Community Health Services is seeking an experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This full-time role ensures the accurate and timely dispensing of medications and prescription processing while upholding exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate has graduated from an accredited pharmacy technician program, holds (or is pursuing) CPhT certification, and has 2–3 years of outpatient experience. Ohio registration and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of coursework and graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician training program.
• National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and current registration with the State of Ohio preferred.
• 340B Experience/Training
• Certified Immunizing Technician preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Knowledge of pharmacy software and medication management systems.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer and typing skills.
• Ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds
• Occasional lifting and moving of supplies and medications.
• Standing for extended periods during shifts.

The Pharmacy Technician will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy/Pharmacist- in charge, to ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications and prescription processing while upholding the highest standards of customer service.
