Job summary

Lawndale Christian Health Center seeks a Pharmacy Technician to handle receipt, preparation, and dispensing of prescriptions at the on-site pharmacy. You will document work in the pharmacy system, treat patients promptly and professionally, and maintain stocked, clean areas in line with regulations.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, pharmacy tech experience or training, and an Illinois license or in progress, plus ability to communicate well and pass an OIG background

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for a variety of tasks for the receipt, preparation, and dispensing of prescriptions from the LCHC on-site Pharmacy, including the documentation of their work in the pharmacy computer system, treating patients in a timely and professional manner, and keeping their work areas properly stocked, cleaned, and in compliance with applicable regulations.

Required Knowledge, Education, Experience Or Licensure/Registration

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
