UNM Medical Group, Inc. is hiring for a PRN Certified Pharmacy Tech to join our Outpatient Truman Pharmacy team. This opportunity is a full-time day shift opening located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Minimum $40,102 - Midpoint $50,117*
*Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
*Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.
UNM Truman Health Services Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated, organized, experienced, and forward thinking Certified Pharmacy Technician (full time) who is committed to improving the health outcomes of patients living with HIV.
The chosen candidate will work in an integrated, multidisciplinary setting to provide effective, efficient, and high quality pharmacy services.

Working under general supervision within UNMMG and UNM Truman Health Services guidelines, provides technical and administrative assistance in the day-to-day activities of a designated pharmacy operation. Assists in the dispensing of prescription pharmaceuticals, fills routine orders for non-prescription pharmaceuticals, and provides direct customer assistance and routine problem resolution to patients dropping off and picking up prescriptions. Coordinates the billing, cash management, and fiscal tracking operations of the pharmacy, and oversees inventory and data management activities in support of pharmacy operations.
High school diploma or GED. Currently registered with State of New Mexico as Certified Pharmacy Technician. National ExCPT or PTCB certification required. Completed degree from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.Verification of education and licensure will be required if selected for hire.
