You will document admission medication histories, assist in medication reconciliation, and contribute to safe patient care under pharmacist supervision.

This role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with regulatory standards, and the ability to educate staff and patients while supporting chemotherapy and sterile preparation tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ExCPT Certification and State Board registration required.
• 1 year of experience in pharmacy (retail, ambulatory, hospital) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify prescriptions accurately.
• Review patient information with prescriptions per guidelines.
• Educate staff and students; participate in performance improvement.
• Provide patient education on medications and adherence.
• Maintain pharmacy records and inventory control.
• Perform chemotherapy IV compounding oversight and sterile IV prep tasks.
