Join Our Team as a Certified Pharmacy Tech at West Chester Hospital

Location: West Chester Hospital

Department: Inpatient Pharmacy

Hours: Full Time, 40 Hours/Week

Shift: Varies

UC Health is hiring a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Inpatient Pharmacy at West Chester Hospital. We offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and patient records.
• Work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, performing duties legally permitted for pharmacy technicians.
• Procure and distribute medication orders, fill prescriptions, prepare sterile preparations, and deliver medications.
• Maintain stock levels, enter medication orders into the system, and handle documentation and quality checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current pharmacy technician registration and certification recognized by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy required.
• No experience required; 1-2 years preferred.
• Ability to perform work accurately, communicate effectively, and handle interruptions.
