Job summary

The GIANT Company in Exton, PA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will be responsible for filling prescriptions, assisting customers, processing orders, checking IDs, and ensuring accurate data entry and product dispensing.

Team members must be state or nationally certified and dedicated to safety, customer service, and regulatory compliance. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties and comply with company policies.
• Must meet state minimum age and be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Background check and drug screening are required.
• Must maintain license certification and comply with safety regulations.
• Must be able to learn and use pharmacy equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and input data accurately.
• Help customers and answer telephone calls.
• Verify customer IDs for applicable products.
• Unpack totes, organize shelves, and manage inventory.
• Complete the prescription filling process and dispenses medications as directed.
• Must be state or nationally certified and maintain certification; immunization if certified to immunize.
