Fry’s Food Stores, based in Arizona and part of The Kroger Company, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and provide exceptional customer care. The role involves data entry, dispensing, and health services while adhering to HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to handle confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Support HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain current national/state registration or license as required.
• Assist pharmacists in all duties except those needing pharmacist judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing.
• Support coaching/training of clerks and technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription accuracy.
• Support non-dispensing services via various platforms and apps.
• Conduct CLIA-waived screenings in line with regulations and policies.
• Provide additional health and wellness services allowed by regulators.
• Ensure sanitation and safety standards; report unsafe conditions.
• Report illegal activity (robbery, theft, fraud).
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
