Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) for St. Francis Downtown on a PRN basis.

Responsibilities include preparing pharmaceuticals, inventory control, compliance audits, and financial transactions, while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining accurate pharmacy records under the supervision of the Pharmacist. The ideal candidate will have a High School Degree or GED, valid ExCPT or PTCB certification with State Board registration, and prior

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Valid ExCPT Certification and registration with State Board of Pharmacy required.
• Experience in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, Acute Care, or Home Infusion Pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and verifying the accuracy and authenticity of prescriptions.
• Reviewing and recording patient information with their prescription in accordance with guidelines.
• Providing instructions to educate patients on how to take their medicines.
• Supporting the Pharmacist in the daily operation of the pharmacy.
• Protecting employees and patients by adhering to infection-control protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
