CommonSpirit Health is seeking aCertified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management within a highly regulated environment.

You will perform precise pharmaceutical calculations, compound non-sterile forms, and utilize automated cabinets while adhering to state and federal regulations. A strong team player with initiative and flexibility is essential for patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active state Pharmacy Technician registration (PHARMTECH:XX).
• Active CPTEXCPT or CPTPTCB or CPHT certification in good standing.
• Six months of IV medication compounding experience.

Responsibilities

• Alert leadership to immediate problems requiring corrective action.
• Fill unit dose carts, floor stock, and medication orders accurately and deliver to care areas.
• Prepare IV admixtures using sterile technique.
• Prepare prescriptions for pharmacist review and dispensing.
• Check floor stock and pharmacy stock for outdates and proper storage monthly.
• Screen nursing and physician inquiries and direct to the pharmacist as needed.
