Responsibilities

• Performs pharmaceutical math and dose calculations.
• Familiar with pharmacy abbreviation symbols and equivalents.
• Understands storage, dosage forms and compounding techniques.
• Maintains data entry, order entry, labeling, pricing and billing.
• Checks drug coverage under billing plans.
• Provides prompt, courteous customer service and resolves issues.
• Maintains organized work area and stock levels.
• Attends department meetings and performs other duties as assigned.
