Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug testing as required.
• Maintain current PTCB certification and state license as required.

• Open schedule availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Desire and ability to train other department associates in all areas pertaining to department operation.
• Pass an evaluation of EPS competency and "unsupervised" qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Help pharmacists prepare prescriptions by counting, labeling, and pricing.
• Ensure customers receive all prescriptions and file forms.
• Prepare and complete manual insurance claim forms when needed.
• Maintain organized filing and inventory records.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Assist customers in locating over-the-counter items and operate the pharmacy system.
